This guide provides an introduction to HDM and describes how to deploy, configure, and undeploy PrimaryIO Hybrid Cloud Data Management (HDM) 2.2 for migrations of virtual machines to Cloud Director (CD), Cloud Director Service (CDS), VMware Cloud Services for IBM, VMware Cloud Foundation on AWS and Azure (AVS).
HDM is delivered as a virtual / software solution; when HDM software is installed, it consists of a single virtual appliance. Further deployment of HDM 2.2 components then occur on-premises in VMware vCenter and in the cloud.
